Sew Much Comfort

During World War II, our founding Mothers joined our country in grass root projects to support our troops. Today, we have a project that could be an all out effort, from the home front, to show our wounded troops and veterans how much we care about them. It is a great way to let them know they are not forgotten.

The project is SEW MUCH COMFORT. Sew Much Comfort provides adaptive clothing free of charge to support the unique needs of our injured service members from all branches of the military and national guard. The need for adaptive clothing continues to grow as American military members are injured serving their country.

Sew Much Comfort needs YOUR help. With injured service members returning to the States each week, Sew Much Comfort struggles to find resources to meet these demands while continuing to help service members currently in recovery. They are distributing over 1,200 clothing items and comfort accessories each month to Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC,Bethesda Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD, Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews AFB, MD, Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX, Balboa Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA , Eisenhower Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA, ,Fort Riley Wounded Soldiers Outreach and Support Center, KS, Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC, Tripler, Hawaii, Landstuhl Regional Center, Germany, Combat Surgical Hospitals in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and VA hospitals around the country.
