Patriotic Instructor

Linda Bayer

As we enter another year of BSMA accomplishments, I would like to thank everyone for their confidence as I begin my new role as your National Patriotic Instructor.

As women who are all-too familiar with the bravery our military children show every day, I am confident we will strive to match their intentions with our own as we work together to support all of their wonderful efforts at defending this marvelous country we live in- America.

I look forward to continuing the amazing achievements of my predecessors and to learn new ways to advance the tireless work of all of our remarkable Blue Star Mothers from all over the country.

I am certain that, together, we will discover and establish even more ways to shine an everlasting light on the valor of our children and on the kind support of those fine Americans who recognize these endeavors and act upon their appreciation.

As I take my new post as Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc.’s National Patriotic Instructor, I invite my fellow Blue Star Mothers to offer suggestions and ideas for ways we may further the traditions and preserve the purposes for which America was born. I see a thrilling and productive year ahead for all of our Blue Star Mothers of America members, families and friends as we join together to advance the patriotic purposes of our children and of this wonderful country we call home.

Thank you,

A-M-E-R-I-C- A

A is for Army, they know their stuff;
M is for Marines, they really are tough;

E is for Eagles, the force of the air;

R is for righteousness and all that's fair;

I is for invisible, that's our Navy at sea;

C is for Coast Guard, efficient as can be;

A is for America, whose flag is unfurled,

that describes America folks,

the best in the world.
